Brackett Creek Summary

PLWA received concerns that the Middle and North Fork trails of Brackett Creek were being shut down by a private landowner. Many of the trails terminate on private land, but several pass through and there is a long history of prescriptive use in this area. Discussions with Forest Service (FS) personnel indicated the FS used to have an easement for North Brackett Creek, but it was terminated in a 2004 land exchange for South Brackett Creek.
